Delete Cyberbullying is an organization dedicated to bringing awareness to youth and parents about the dangers of cyberbullying. They hope to “work towards its eradication” by multiple methods.
First, they want to inform the public about all things related to cyberbullying by sharing news stories on their website. Next, they have the Petition Against Cyberbullying, where youth can state “that they will treat others online with respect as well as try to assist those who may be victims of cyberbullying.” Then, by providing outreach programs and educational material, students and school staff can empower themselves with information to combat cyberbullying.
On DeleteCyberbullying.org, students can share their personal stories anonymously with others. Plus, youth can write a more detailed essay “about how cyberbullying affected them” with an opportunity to win a scholarship to pay for higher education.
Along with resources and definitions of cyberbullying, NSV loves the work that Delete Cyberbullying is doing. You should check them out!
